Can you believe this? Someone blew up our web site. I mean really! Nothing else to do? Why would anyone want to crash our site? I just don’t get it. It really made us sad and confused here at the PW-5 headquarters. Maybe it’s a conspiracy, and someone does not like us having fun with short wings. Whoever it was, get a live! Actually, here is my challenge: Who ever crashed our site, show your face. Tell us who and where you are, and we will find someone who will take you up flying in glider to show you why we are so dedicated to our sport. After a flight with us, we are convinced that you will never ever try to destroy something as unique and special as our web site, our link to the soaring community.
Moving on…
It is a new year, yes it is the year 2010, and we wish all our followers a happy and successful year! We hope you all will fly all the kilometers you have been dreaming off. Because of our interruption we have a ton of news and articles we will be publishing over the next days, weeks and months. The most pressing item is the announcement of the winner of the 2009 Arcade Cup.
Please stay tuned, be patient, we still have a bit of clean up to do on our site, but expect exciting stuff to happen on our site.
Oh, I just about forgot: Fund Drive. Unfortunately, our in house web master talent needed some external help in resurrecting our web site, and we had to spend some money. In addition, updating programs, adding security software and hosting fees are a drain on our coffers. Help us with your dollars to keep this site going. From now on, every January is a fund drive month. Send us what you can; even the smallest amount is appreciated.
